आज हमारे लिए अत्यंत हर्ष की बात है कि हम आपके समक्ष अपने नवोदित प्रकाशन "विराज' की प्रथम हिंदी की पुस्तक विहान की श्रृंखला 1-8 प्रस्तुत करने में सफल हुए हैं।मातृभाषा हिंदी के प्रति बढ़ती हुई बच्चों की अरुचि ने हमें प्रकाशन की स्थापना और सर्वप्रथम हिंदी भाषा के उत्थान के लिए कार्य करने को प्रेरित किया।इस उद्देश्य की पूर्ति हेतु प्रथम सोपान पर हमने चढ़ने का प्रयास अपने प्रकाशन की प्रथम हिंदी की पुस्तक विहान के माध्यम से करने की चेष्टा कीहै।विहान की भाषा अत्यधिक सरल सरस व प्रवाहपूर्ण है।इसमेँ हिंदी की समस्त विधाओं पर आधारित पाठ यथा सम्भव नवीन व रोचक तथा बच्चों को अपनी ओर सम्मोहित करनेवाले हैं।पुस्तक मे सुंदर रंगीन चित्रों विविध सरल अभ्यासों तथा जिज्ञासा शांत करनेवाले तथ्यों के साथ साथ बच्चों की कल्पना शीलता और जुझारू प्रवृत्ति को जाग्रत करनेवाली गतिविधियों का समायोजन कर पुस्तक को विशेष बनाने का प्रयास किया गया है।......

लेखन मेरे लिए स्वांतः सुखाय से अधिक परांत: सुखाय है लेखन का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों को नवीन दृष्टि ,मौलिक चिंतन प्रदान करते हुए अपने परिवेश के साथ बाह्य जगत का जान प्राप्त करना व स्वस्थ परंपराओं को ग्रहण करना है। नव विहान पुस्तक माला की रचना करते समय हमने नवीन शिक्षा नीति और राष्ट्रीय पाठ्यचर्या के समस्त मानकों को ध्यान में रखा है।
विद्यार्थी मूल पाठ को श्रवण , पठन द्वारा ग्रहण करें ,तथा अभ्यास द्वारा उनकी स्मृति परीक्षा हो ।जिसके अंतर्गत अधिगम के साथ भाषाई कौशल व व्याकरण का भी विकास हो ,कल्पना को पंख मिलें ,विषय से अतिरिक्त जानने की जिज्ञासा शांत हो ऐसा प्रयास किया गया है। पाठ्यक्रम रोचक बने इसलिए कक्षानुरूप भाषा व विषय चयनित किए गए हैं। कक्षा में बच्चे सजग रहें इसलिए बीच बीच में प्रश्न भी पूछे गए हैं। गणितीय योग्यता ,स्वास्थ्य रक्षा हेतु भी प्रश्न पूछे गए हैं। हमारी नई पौध एक वैज्ञानिक सोच ,सत्य ,निष्ठा के साथ पल्लवित हो, अपनी संस्कृति ,सामाजिक सारोकारों से जुड़े तथा देश के उठाने सहायक बने इसी कामना के साथ यह पुस्तक माला आपको समर्पित है।
